June birthdays plus third and thirtieth anniversary’s gemstone is the pearl! From ancient usage until the current day, pearls have been appreciated in fine ornamentation. Major world sources for gem pearls cultivation are Japan, the South Pacific and China. And although pearls have recently taken a bit of a dip in popularity, new clothes fashions have included all colors, shapes and sizes of pearls this Season. A real understanding and education of fine pearls, ( not to difficult to learn), opens up a whole world of appreciation unto itself. PS. Pearls are given as a traditional gift by grooms to their prospective brides, as well as given by husbands to their wives on the birth of a child.
